Natali Muñoz is an MA candidate at Syracuse University’s program for Italian Renaissance Art History in Florence, Italy. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Art History from James Madison University in 2024, where she developed her interest in Italian art. She has since refined her interests to female saints and sinners, depictions of marginalized groups, and tracing proto-racial thought through late medieval and early modern Italian art. During her internship, she was responsible for publicizing Cristofano Bronzini’s treatise “On the Dignity and Nobility of Women” on the Medici Archive Project’s Instagram.
