We can’t resist sharing our enthusiasm for archival research as a gateway to knowledge and discovery. Our way of bringing more chairs to the table is the Friends of the Medici Archive Project, a program centered on creating opportunities for both individuals and corporate entities to take part in our mission.
Through Friends of MAP, we partner with peer organizations in order to foster pathbreaking research, to introduce new audiences to our digital databases, and to promote historical research with early modern archival documents.
Individuals who join Friends of MAP share in the thrill of historical discovery thanks to special experiences reserved just for them, including the Tuesday Ten Talks (our online lecture series), MAP Camp for kids (coming this winter), and a host of other features such as weekly free lessons in reading Italian documents called “Friday Lunch Letters.”
If you share our passion for history, fill out the form below to receive information about joining our circle of Friends.
