Jiang Wei is a PhD student in the History department in King’s College London. She works on the Catholic missionaries in China, Japan, and the Philippines during the 16th and 17th centuries. Her project in the MAP is to explore the unchartered connections between the Grand Duchy of Tuscany and the Far East (16th – 18th centuries).
