Ruben Verità graduated summa cum laude in May 2026 from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, USA. As an art history major, in June 2025 he attended MAP’s summer paleography seminar, where he began the research that led to his undergraduate honors thesis, titled “Weaving Ideology: Textiles in Florentine and Venetian Painting of the Cinquecento.” During his internship at MAP in the summer of 2026, Ruben seeks to further his Italian paleography and archival analysis skills. He will continue his studies in Early Modern Italian art history this coming fall at Syracuse University, as an MA student in their Florence program in Italian Renaissance art.
