George T. Frampton, Jr.

George T. Frampton, Jr. Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Medici Archive Project, holds degrees from  Yale College, the London School of Economics (M.Sc. Econ.) and Harvard Law School. Mr. Frampton is a Senior of Counsel at the firm of Covington & Burling LLP, in New York and Washington, D.C. where he is co-lead of their clean energy and climate practice. Prior to this, he was a partner at Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP; served as Chairman of the White House Council on Environmental Quality; as Corporate Advisor to Earth Satellite Corporation; as personal Attorney to Al Gore; as Assistant Secretary of the Interior for Fish, Wildlife and Parks, responsible for supervising the National Park Service and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service; and as President of the Wilderness Society.Mr. Frampton joined the MAP Board of Trustees on May 19, 2006.
