Alexander Röstel 

Alexander Röstel is a specialist in Italian art between 1300 and 1800. He holds degrees from the University of Cambridge and the Courtauld Institute of Art, where he also completed his PhD on artistic patronage networks in Renaissance Florence. He has previously served in scientific and curatorial roles at the Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister in Dresden, the Technische Universität in Berlin, the Bibliotheca Hertziana in Rome, the National Gallery in London and the Alte Pinakothek in Munich.
