Tamara Graziotti received both her undergraduate degree (2007) and her doctorate (Medieval History, 2012) from the University of Florence. Her dissertation on the reform of the Tuscan penal system in the early Trecento is currently being prepared for publication. Her research focuses on the social history of Italian communes in the late Middle Ages, with an emphasis on lay administrative court systems. She is also graduate of the Scuola di Archivistica, Paleografia e Diplomatica at the Archivio di Stato in Florence.
