Myrto’ Psicharis

Myrtò Psicharis was born in Florence. She is currently carrying out a degree in Art History, Conservation and Care of Cultural Heritage at the University of Florence. She has a strong background in ancient Greek, Latin and Archaeology. Her intrests are late Byzantine art and culture, and its impact on Florentine Humanism and Renaissance culture. Since 2009 she has worked in the city of Florence as a licenced tour guide, and has a deep knowledge of all the museums and monuments of the city. She began the Jane Fortune internship at the Medici Archive Project in early summer of 2011.
