Lorenzo Allori, native of Florence, graduated in Business Communication at the University of Siena. He has been working for Syracuse University and for several other firms, building ad hoc IT solutions. Primarily a Unix and Networking specialist, he has been a member of the The Medici Archive Project team since 2003, creating the entire MAP information technology infrastructure.
He has been the project manager for MAP’s digital platform BIA (http://bia.medici.org), and he is now the project manager on the new MIA (Medici Interactive Archive) digital portal. He is also in charge of the Medici Archive Digitization Project.
His interest include Digital Humanities, Digital History, and the development opensource software using the latest web technologies (J2EE with Restful web services, AngularJS with NodeJS). His interests include Digital Humanities especially Digital History.
