Renaissance Society of America 58th Annual Meeting

Since 2008, MAP has sponsored sixteen panels at the yearly conference, presenting a total of forty-six papers on a wide variety of topics. This year, the Medici Archive Project is proud to announce its largest contribution to an RSA conference to date, with a total of 6 panels, comprising 19 papers to be deivered this spring. Topics covered in these presentations will include slavery in the Mediterranean, Tuscan academies, and Medici female patronage, displaying the wide range of scholarship inspired by work in the Medici Archives.
