We are delighted to announce that The Gladys Krieble Delmas Foundation has just awarded us a generous grant supporting the development and administration of The Medici Archive Project's Pilot Online Course in Italian Paleography and Archival Studies. We are grateful to the Delmas Foundation for joining with the Samuel H. Kress Foundation to underwrite this groundbreaking project, one which aims to train scholars all over the world in the fundamental skills needed to read and interpret archival materials.
The awarding of this grant signals that the Medici Archive Project's endeavors have been recognized by one of the major foundations supporting research in the Humanities, and this is something we can take special pride in.
