Topic Description: Frames

"FRAMES" encompasses all references to the framing, setting and mounting of pictures and other primarily two-dimensional works (including bas reliefs, votive panels, mirrors, etc.) in both secular and sacred contexts. Also, the mounting and presentation of prints and drawings in albums and other formats.

The Project's goal is to be as inclusive as possible in order to support narrowed searches by "PERSON", "PLACE", "DATE RANGE" and "WORD SEARCH".

The MEDICI ARCHIVE PROJECT INC. is registered as a non-profit corporation in New York with Federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status.
