We are very pleased and honored to announce that the Medici Archive Project was just awarded a grant from the Samuel H. Kress Foundation. This award is a start-up grant which will enable MAP to produce a platform for a pilot Italian paleography online course, and to offer the course in the fall of this year.

We are proud to announce another milestone of the Medici Archive Project as we celebrate the launch of the new Medici Archive Project website, www.medici.org. This beautifully articulated web site is rich in design and filled with information about our progress towards our noble mission. Undeniably, this web site will serve as an excellent educational platform for the world to better understand how these primary documents serve as a precious resource to illuminate the voices and actions of the Medici family dynasty and their Court during the late Renaissance and Early Modern Period.
